Temescal Brewing is seeking a passionate and hard working Head of Sales and Distribution to welcome to our team! 

You will lead our wholesale team, working closely with company leadership on sales planning and brand management, coordinating with our wholesale partners, and strengthening our relationships with top bars and restaurants throughout the bay area.

Our ideal candidate has previous sales management experience in craft beer or related beverage industries, a fondness for data-driven decisionmaking, and a strong alignment with our brand and company values.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities – include but not limited to: 

  • Manage and support our self-distribution team, currently two account managers and a delivery driver

  • Oversee sales to both local and out-of-state wholesalers 

  • Coordinate with brewery and retail teams to determine how our products are allocated to various sales channels 

  • Set and monitor department sales goals and to modify our operations + sales strategies to meet those goals

  • Predict long-term wholesale demand and work with leadership to set appropriate production goals

  • Oversee maintenance and proper use of company delivery vehicles

  • Oversee warehouse operations, streamlining systems for shipping and receiving of product and ensuring that our inventory is well-organized

Key Job Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in a craft beer or craft beer-adjacent sales role

  • 2-3 years experience managing a team

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Is kind and collaborative — our brewery motto is “No Jerks,” and we mean it!

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize

  • Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and CRM software

  • Compensation Range: 60K-75K/year BOE, with a mix of salary + commission/bonus
