A Susquehanna Valley business owner is giving back to her clients, one eyebrow at a time.Those clients include Deb Young, who was diagnosed with cancer three years ago. “I know how hard it is to go through losing your hair and going through the chemo treatments, and it was tough,” she said. Thanks to Cindy Getz, she’s able to have perfect brows without the need for makeup. “Microblading – a lot of people would refer to that as a tattoo, but it’s really not a tattoo. I am using tattoo ink, and I’m performing a procedure with a little tool called a microblade,” Getz said.Using fine strokes, Getz creates natural brows.”I do it free for cancer patients,” Getz said.”Her service is incredible in itself. For free? She has a big heart,” Young’s husband, Mike, said. “They can get wigs. They can do hair wraps, different things for the hair loss on their head but if they don’t know how to do their eyebrows, they don’t know what to do,” Getz said. “The look on their face is just priceless to me. I just want to give them a little bit of themselves back.”
