Needham police are investigating a stabbing that was reported Wednesday afternoon inside an local business. Authorities responded to the Restaurant Depot on First Avenue just before 2 p.m. after receiving a medical call. When police officers arrived at the business, they discovered a person who had been stabbed. The police chief told WCVB an argument between two employees escalated to one of them being stabbed. First responders said they rendered aid to the victim while officers apprehended the suspect, who police say was still in the building. Angel Cartagena Resto, 65, of Dorchester, was arrested and charged with assault with the intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The victim was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Police said the person was in stable condition.
